Two days in Sarajevo

To get the most of Sarajevo you should start you trip in Bascarsija, built in the 15th century when the city itself was founded. In this old part of Sarajevo, located on the north bank of the river Miljacka, you can see many interesting things and try from traditional bosnian cousine. You should not miss ćevapi, traditional bosnian dish made of grilled minced meat, or burek with meat or cheese.

If you are a lover of history, art or simply enjoy the costal sights of city, Sarajevo is the right place for you! Take a walk along the unique coastline of Miljacka across the Latin Bridge, where the world’s history is shaped, or just enjoy the wonderful view of Sarajevo from Tabija, the choice is completely yours.

Continue your trip with Vrelo Bosnia, beautiful park and green oasa near the city. Go back to another time by driving with the carriage to the very source of the river where an unbelievable sight await you, which will not leave anyone indifferent. If you are a fan of fish specialities, do not miss a chance to try spring pastry wich would be served to you in a unique way by skillful chefs. You can spend your second day by visiting nature reserve of mountain Bjelasnica and Igman, which is located just 25 km from Sarajevo, or visit the famous olympic center Jahorina. Do not miss the chance to enjoy the nature of this beautiful area.

And of course, at the very end, you can not feel the true spirit of the city unless you feel its night life, and Sarajevo certainly have that. A large number of cafes, snacks and restaurants will provide you with the guaranteed pleasure you can only experience here.
